In the next two months our Steps Outreach Service is running a couple of cool competitions that give young people the opportunity to let their creativity shine while raising awareness and understanding about youth homelessness.
Florent is keen to support multicultural young people
We recently welcomed Florent Soli to the Concern Australia team as our new Multicultural Engagement Officer, a role created in partnership with Working for Victoria.
Young people get a taste for automotive mechanics
The New Year began with the first outing for our latest Hand Brake Turn venture – a 1-week Taster course in automotive skills designed to give young people a relaxed and fun introduction to working with vehicles.
Working with the Victorian Government to create jobs that make a difference
We’re proud to announce that we have filled seven newly-created roles through the $500 million Working for Victoria initiative, part of the Victorian Government’s response to the impact of the global pandemic.
Two new Board Members to guide us into the future
We were thrilled to welcome Stephanie Armstrong and Nathan Linton as new Board Members at our October AGM. They bring significant insight, experience and energy and they will contribute an invaluable younger voice to Concern Australia’s leadership team.
