COVID rollercoaster inspires Manmeet to create opportunities for young people
Manmeet lost her job when the pandemic started and spent six months unemployed and isolated at home. Then Working for Victoria gave her the opportunity to get back to work helping people who had been affected. We're thrilled to now have her as part of our team!
Thanh’s commitment to being a ‘somebody’ who makes a difference
Thanh moved to Australia as a refugee with his parents when he was just one year old. Now he's determined to support young people through his new role with Concern Australia. "I’ve always wanted to give back and serve my community in a meaningful way. Now I’m doing it in this area. It’s so good."
Ella’s passion for helping young people finds a home
Ella Crosling has recently joined our team as one of our new Youth Engagement Resource Officers, based at our south-east Melbourne site in Dandenong. She is one of seven new staff members employed through the Victorian Government’s Working for Victoria initiative.
