After an intensive and thorough recruitment process, the Concern Australia Board are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Chief Executive Officer, Judith Atkinson.

Judith joins us from Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre and is an accomplished leader who is passionate in providing opportunities for people to transform their lives and live to the fullest. She brings a genuine care for at-risk and disadvantaged young people and has experience in both program delivery and government policy.

“I understand the immense value and difference that Concern Australia provides and am strongly committed to being part of this work.”

– Judith Atkinson

We are excited for what this new chapter will bring for the organisation, and for the impact that we will continue to have in the lives of disadvantaged young people. As Judith settles into her new role, we trust that you will witness the same dedication, empathy, and expertise that we have observed throughout her recruitment.

“The Board are excited to have Judith lead Concern Australia through this next phase of innovation, impact, and growth. We would like to also acknowledge the great work of Richard Parker. Richard’s ability to step into the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer, provided us with confidence that the organisation was in capable hands whilst we undertook a meaningful and thorough recruitment process.”

– Jon Ma, Board Chair

Judith will commence her role as CEO on Monday 8th of May. Please join us in welcoming Judith as we step into this exciting new season.
