With over 20 years experience, Concern Australia has been successfully delivering the Hand Brake Turn (HBT) program from various locations across Australia with over 9,600 students having completed the course to date!
This 7 week prevocational automotive training program offers a 3 day per week (20 hours) automotive and life skills training course.
With hands on practical experience, this course provides a range of technical skills (automotive care, body repair technology, light vehicle mechanics, OH&S, computer skills, job readiness and budgeting skills) along with life skills (developing personal plans, goal setting, communication, creativity, team work, self confidence and self reflection), while enabling the learner to explore alternative training and educational pathways.
Our next HBT intake is in Dandenong on 30th January 2018 – 15th March 2018.
