Mark is a graduate from our flagship Hand Brake Turn program who successfully stepped into full-time employment upon completing the course. We were honored to be able to support him where necessary to ensure he secured a career in an industry that he loves.
When Mark arrived at our Dandenong premises he had been disengaged from school for some time and his teachers and parents were concerned he was going to fall through the cracks.
At Concern Australia, we know the power of mentoring and relationship building and the impact it can have in turning young people’s lives around. We are so proud of the commitment Mark has made to his learning and employment opportunity and its also a huge shout out to the HBT team and in particular the inspiring Phil Bloy, who took an active and caring role in Mark’s development and success.
