In 2025, we are celebrating 40 years of the Steps Outreach Service.
As part of this on 9th August we gathered at St. Martin's in Collingwood for a service and afternoon tea. It was wonderful to catch up with people and families who were supported by Steps in the past and see how well they are doing.
It was a celebration of 40 years of working together to make a difference for young people and families experiencing homelessness.
As part of our 40th Anniversary Celebrations we have launched a new podcast, Steps out of Homelessness. You can listen to some of the wonderful stories shared by our Lived Experience Advisory Group and others here.
THANK YOU to the Steps supporters from community and corporate organisations who were also present on the day, including: Rotary Central Melbourne and Rotary Greensborough, KLM Spatial, St. Hilary's Anglican Church, Reach Marketing Group, Peter Casamento photography, Mayor Martin John Taylor from the City of Whittlesea, We Are Mobilise, Concern Australia current and past staff and volunteers, God's Squad CMC – Melbourne, Di Duursma, Alan Gray, faithful members of St Martin's Community Church, Glena Smith, our wonderful Steps lived experience Advisory group and valued family and friends.
