Record-Breaking Year for Values for Life
Our Values for Life team had one of it’s biggest years on record in 2009, reaching almost 17,000 young people through more than 260 seminars in 110 schools.

For 2009, V4L showed a 50% increase in the number of secondary schools they visited.
Some talented and exuberant staff were also brought on board the V4L team in 2009 with new ideas and a fresh take on the direction God is leading. New additions to the team include: Peta McDonald (Presenter), Evan Holmes (Presenter/Musician), Sarah White (Development Officer and Presenter) & Peter Whitehill (administration volunteer) joined the team.

One student visited by V4L team explained the impact the team is having in her own words...
“Your words letting us know what the true meaning of life is has honestly changed my view of the world … I've just realised that image isn’t everything. I feel like I was lost, stumbling in the dar, but now I know where I can find my identity. Good luck on your job because from this day forward I've changed"
– Year 11 student, St. Joseph's Girls College
Please continue to pray for:
- Staff vision, passion and strength to grow and be sustained for the direction of the V4L Queensland teams and for effective doors to be opened to them.
- For direction with new curriculum and resources development, but more importantly for the engagement, use and implementation of the resources by schools, churches, sporting clubs and other groups.
- For the growth of the V4L supporter base and trust in God’s provision.
