Hand Brake Turn Funding Announcements

Hand Brake Turn

Hand Brake Turn has just secured partial funding through the Australian Apprenticeships Access Program for the coming financial year, allowing several hundred young people from Melbourne, Geelong and the NSW Central Coast to take part in the life-transforming experience.

Hand Brake Turn has also secured a contract with Skills
Victoria, under the Victorian Government’s Securing Jobs for Your Future guarantee.  This will pay for face-to-face training on an hourly basis at all HBT sites.

We would like to offer a big ‘thank you’ to the parents of young people and other supporters of HBT who sent letters to local, state, and federal members of parliament on our behalf.

These recent happenings again confirm that Hand Brake Turn is a quality program that has clearly impacted the lives of many.

Concern Australia also congratulates its Employment Placement Consultant at HBT Sunshine, Nathan Randell and his wife Kelly on the arrival of Isaac Daniel Randell on 5 June, a healthy 9lbs 12oz.
