A Book to help Steps Celebrate 25 Years

Steps Outreach Service manager, Anne Mitchell, Grace Baulch and a team of very able volunteers from the Rotary Club of Southbank have been hard at work on a book celebrating its 25 years working with homeless young people.

The coffee table book will be titled ‘Under the Bridge’ and features amazing photography from acclaimed photographer Peter Casamento, along with stories and poems by homeless people that Steps has engaged with.

The book will also feature more than 30 winning photographs from young photographers from local secondary and tertiary schools across Melbourne.

Steps would like to recognise the generosity of OfficeWorks which donated prizes for the competition, the hard work of Philip Archer and Rhys Maggs from the Rotary Club of Southbank,  as well as Peter Casamento, Nicholas Kane of MinuteMan Press (Prahran), Helga Schulte from Treehouse Graphics, Matt Turner from Davidson and Addy Wetzler of Geon Print & Communication Solutions.

The book will be launched on Friday 8th October at the Steps 25th Birthday Celebration, so keep your eyes out for more information.
