Topics Overview

Values For Life School Seminars provide a powerful values-based program to assist primary and secondary students in their social and emotional development.

The seminars are designed to help students think about and question issues and values in today’s culture in a relevant, exciting, reflective learning experience.

PRIMARY SCHOOL TOPICS

SECONDARY SCHOOL TOPICS

V4L seminars have been in constant demand by schools across Australia and New Zealand for over 30 years.

The seminars can be used as...

  • a tool in fostering meaningful interpersonal relationships and healthy self-image both in and out of school
  • an entertaining and effective way of tackling contemporary and relevant issues
  • a stimulus for class discussion for students in many different curriculum areas
  • a retreat day for students on a topic of choice

To ensure the seminars are relevant for the specific issues faced by participants, each session includes a variety of input including:

  • music
  • drama
  • discussion
  • storytelling
  • role plays
  • games
  • activities
  • multi-media presentations

Content can be adapted in response to students’ needs, current issues, and curriculum topics.

To request a copy of the Victorian Essential Learning Standard (V.E.L.S.), please contact us about any of your preferred topics.

Seminars vary from 30 – 90 minutes (primary school) up to a full day or even a retreat package (secondary).
