"Young people have a particular vulnerabiltity to the failure of the modern Western Culture to do well what cultures are supposed to do: provide webs of meanng that shape the way people see the world, locate themselves within it and behave in it." excerpt from “Well & Good: morality, meaning and happiness” – Richard Eckersley

TO BELONG Primary School Music Resource – “Musicians performing at Values for Life (V4L) School Seminars have created a number of songs which relate strongly to the values and themes being presented in the sessions delivered to students. A special selection of those songs has been compiled on this CD in response to a lot of interest shown in recent years from primary school teachers wanting to enhance their teaching and learning programs for regular classes when addressing values for living. This material provides a way to engage students with an even wider range of learning styles than would be possible through the rich activities, discussions, information and personal experience which is compressed into the V4L School Seminar sessions. The booklet, accompanying the CD (to belong), is arranged so that teachers are provided with leading questions and prompts for class discussion on the theme or values on which they wish to focus with their students.”
