Heads up!
Welcome to the funkiest area in the Concern family!
Concern Australia has been getting amongst the primary and secondary school kids of Australia for over thirty years through Values 4 Life School Seminars, and giving them something 2 stand 4!
Young people today are constantly being bombarded with pop-culture messages through media, school and peers - affecting their choices and values.
In a society of blurred boundaries, Values for Life School Seminars (V4LSS), an early intervention youth support program, is a powerful and positive values education model that assists young people during their crucial years of personal, social and emotional development.
V4L School Seminars, in an entertaining and effective way, tackle contemporary and relevant issues, interacting and challenging young people to question issues and the importance of values in today’s culture. This is done by engaging both Primary and Secondary students in a relevant, exciting, multi-media and reflective learning experience which can translate into meaningful interpersonal relationships and a healthy self-image both in and out of school.

Walk the Talk!
The V4L program was the first of its kind, pioneering Affective Domain Education in Australia in 1968. To an ever-changing youth culture, V4L continues at the forefront of engaging and developing students in this area; in quality of content, adaptability contextualisation in each presentation.
Done in a language they can connect with, students gain real life insight into issues that affect them in the school yard and beyond. V4L assist students in developing a values-based worldview, and a capacity to exercise sound judgment regarding morality, ethics and social justice.
The V4L Victorian Essential Learning Standards (V.E.L.S.) Interface, ensures that schools can also be assisted in meeting their curriculum needs.
“The modern worldview, which is characterised by materialism, exploitative attitudes and faith in manipulative technology, is being challenged by an emerging worldview that reinstates the spiritual and holistic view... the central question we must address in terms of meaning." - Richard Eckersley
