Online Transaction Policy
General Sales Terms
In making a purchase/order through the Concern Australia website, payment must be via credit card by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club. Any charges relating to the lapse of any payment will be incurred by the customer, be they individuals or groups. As such any ordered items will remain in the ownership of Concern Australia* until receipt of payment in full.
All prices are quoted in Australian dollars, and are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to rectify prices quoted in the invoice, if found to be incorrect.
Products & Merchandise
The sale of all merchandise is to provide funds in support of Concern Australia activities. Customers can also take the opportunity when making payment nations to make a donation to Concern Australia. Amounts of $2 and over are tax deductible and identifiable on your tax receipt.
Delivery & Returns
Merchandise will be posted upon confirmation of payment. To ensure effective and efficient delivery, correct order and delivery details must be provided otherwise no responsibility will be accepted for non receipt of goods.
Customers will incur a standard postal charge and all items are delivered by Australia Post. Prices are negotiable for bulk orders. Some large, bulky or heavy orders may require an adjustment to quoted delivery costs. If this is the case we will contact you prior to shipping to finalise the order and arrange shipping. Alternatively, you may prefer to email details of the products required prior to purchase and we will provide a final freight cost.
Purchase and Product Restrictions
- Orders will only be accepted for current product.
- Orders may purchase by phone or online
- If unable to purchase via credit card, orders may be paid by cheque if ordering through the mail.
- Individuals will be charged any applicable GST
If upon receipt the item has been damaged, the customer is required to contact Concern Australia 1300 796 234 to discuss the matter before returning with any original packaging to:

Returns must be pre-paid as we do not accept C.O.D. deliveries. Concern Australia is not responsible for returned merchandise not received. If seeking a replacement, provision must be made for a three or four week turnaround.
Any claim for incorrect shipment, faulty or damaged goods on delivery, must be made within five (5) working days of receipt of goods.

Education Services Seminars – Values 4 Life and Stand4
All seminar/workshop prices and scheduled dates are subject to standard charge rates unless a multiple package has been especially arranged.
All seminars are exempt from GST, however, training materials do attract GST and this component will be identified on your tax invoice.
Conditions of bookings
Seminar booking confirmations are emailed or faxed. Curriculum Addendum – Seminar Supports are provided complimentary for both Primary and Secondary with a paid booking, but may also be purchased separately.
Seminars are tailored per institution after consultation regarding the prominent needs of the target audience, and the corresponding choice of seminar topic.
If the seminar that has booked requires re-scheduling or a cancellation, contact with the Education Services Department must be made at the earliest possible opportunity to avoid complications with staffing commitments/availability and the booking schedule.
Seminar Cancellations
If a booked seminar is cancelled and not rescheduled, a cancellation fee will apply to accommodate loss of business. The following cancellation fees apply:
- If cancelled one month or more prior to the booking $50.00
- If cancelled under one month prior to the booking $150.00
- If cancelled under two weeks prior to the booking 50% of seminar fee
If unforseen circumstances require Concern Australia Education Services to cancel a seminar, every effort will be made to provide an alternative booking to the satisfaction of the institution.

Concern Australia respects your right to your own privacy. Therefore we appreciate the importance and are committed to protect the confidentiality of your personal and financial information supplied via our website.
When using the services provided we will collect personal information such as: Name, Delivery Address, Contact Phone Number and E-Mail Address. Order information is also stored at this time to track previous transactions.
To further safeguard personal information, Concern Australia does not sell, lease, trade or otherwise dispense its donor or customer lists to any other party under any circumstance. Your personal details are retained only for maintaining and supporting your relationship with Concern Australia, and only accessed by authorised personnel.
