Services Overview
Through a holistic approach, Concern Australia offers training programs, employment opportunities, personal support and community services to help change lives and maximise a positive contribution to society. These services are developed and managed in consultation and in partnership with relevant government agencies, church and community groups, local business and families of participants.
Concern Australia Services include:
- HandBrakeTurn – Giving young people at risk the opportunity to get their life on track through an automotive training program.
- Steps Outreach Service - Providing support to homeless people in central Melbourne.
- InsideOut - Supporting young people in the juvenile justice system.
- Values 4 Life School Seminars - Offering life topic seminars about issues which impact school students today.
- God’s Squad CMC – Providing chaplaincy support to the outlaw biker fraternity
- St Martin’s Community Church - Building Christian community through physical, emotional, social and spiritual support.
- LiveWires – Providing an after school care program for kids in the Collingwood Housing Estate.
- John Smith – Blues Preacher - Founder, Business Anthropologist, Social Commentator, Biker, Author.
- 3Way Professional Development Training – Integrating workplace productivity, personnel development & social capital.
- Stand4 - Training in drug and alcohol issues for schools, sporting clubs and community groups.
