Statement of Purpose
- To be a Christian movement for mission and proclamation; sharing the gospel world view in a culturally sensitive and relevant manner.
- To address the causes of systemic and personal greed, violence and poverty by discourse and dialogue through literature, media and public meetings.
- To provide education seminars for primary and secondary schools and tertiary institutions, applying the Christian world view to the current historic and social milieu, by providing moral, spiritual and relational guidelines with respect to both personal and social issues.
- To recruit, train and provide contextual communicators for both mainstream and sub-cultural contexts, through itinerant and localised proclamation, and also to provide seminars, training programs and other forums within the organisation’s expertise and experience.
- To research current shifts in religious and social thinking to generate a continual and proactive social comment to challenge government policy, church and community standards, and popular culture within the public forum.
- To develop cooperative relationships with individuals and/or organisations in who align with the ethos and mission of the organisation. To work in cooperation with government, social and community agencies, local church and para-church groups, toward common goals.
- To maintain and manage existing ministry/programs in service to the community, and to develop and implement innovative ministries (in the tradition of God’s Squad) appropriate to the culture shifts of the time.
